Career Goals

As a high school theatre director, I continually strive to equip my students with hands-on experience in multiple facets of theatre so that they can make an informed decision about their next steps after high school. When students leave my program, I want them to have a strong vision of where they want to take their craft, whether is it into a full-time theatre program, as an occasional side hobby, or simply as life-long consumers of the arts.

Since obtaining my MFA in the Theatre Education program at the Mississippi University for Women I hope to have the opportunity to add dual credit theatre classes at the high school level. This will open more opportunities to my students who plan to pursue theatre at the college level. I am always in search of new adventures in directing. Ultimately, I would like to teach future theatre educators at the university level.
